The Course

Note: This is an advanced training, it is not an EMDR Basic Training. You must have completed EMDR Basic Training to receive CE Credits.

This course informs EMDR therapists how to strategically facilitate EMDR Phase 2: Preparation with children preparing them to face upcoming challenges inside and outside the office as they move further through the phases of EMDR.

To do this, the course teaches EMDR therapists how to use the “Rallying Resources Wheel” which highlights six key areas that will help meet the phase goals and objectives which include: self-regulation, co-regulation, psycho-education, relationship building and “person of therapist” importance, preparation for next phases, and Phase 1: History Taking & Case Planning treatment plan carry over including assessing ongoing stressors,

The heart of the course is focused on reviewing 20 unique Phase 2: Preparation activities. Therapist's will leave the course with several practical resources and worksheet downloads.

This course has a nice balance of EMDR theory and original creative content, including 2 demos and shared experiential clinical knowledge to help therapists feel confident that the course will bring value to their clinical practice.
